Once the sale is made, all reservations are subject to the TERMS and CONDITIONS stated on our website, as well as these terms and conditions. By booking with Viajes LunaMiel, you express the PURCHASER'S CONSENT to these terms and conditions.

 

The Viajes LunaMiel name and logo may appear on posted or handheld signs at your hotel, at the airport of your departure or destination, on vans, buses, coaches, or other locations during your vacation. This use of the name and logo is for the sole purpose of helping you identify individuals or entities that may provide services to you during your trip, but does not indicate that Viajes LunaMiel owns, controls, or operates any entity displaying such logo, or that it employs or controls any person who owns or displays it.

VIAJES LUNAMIEL provides you with its emergency telephone number indicated on your service voucher, as well as contact numbers for service providers. If you have any questions before your trip, please call the office number (during scheduled hours). If you need assistance during your trip, please call the 24-hour emergency number.

 

The following tourist services, which are illustrative but not limited to, describe their general features. It is the CUSTOMER'S responsibility to use them under the stated conditions.

FOR HOTEL RESERVATIONS:

1. It is important to return rooms at the time indicated at check-out to avoid extra charges. Please confirm this at reception upon arrival.

2. An additional charge may apply regarding local taxes called "visitor tax," "tourist tax," "resort fee," or "sanitation fees," which must be paid directly by the CUSTOMER at the establishment and/or the airport. See terms and conditions.

3. Parking, food and beverages, cribs, and additional items not specified as included in the LUNAMIEL service coupon for the contracted product, as well as personal charges, will be the customer's responsibility.

4. A credit card or cash deposit may be required upon check-in for incidental charges, in the case of students, and/or due to hotel policies.

5. No refunds apply in the case of no-shows and early departures.

6. Smoking is prohibited in the facilities and rooms by law. Some hotels have designated areas for this activity; please inquire at the front desk.

7. Some hotels offer timeshares with breakfast invitations in order to market them. Accepting this invitation is optional for the CUSTOMER.

 

FOR AIR SERVICE RESERVATIONS:

1. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, non-cancellable, and change and modification fees apply.

2. It is necessary to present your printed boarding pass or the digital barcode, if applicable. Your advisor can help you issue it if you instruct them to schedule your passes for your flights, provided that, where applicable, they must schedule your passes between 72 and 4 hours before departure for domestic flights and between 24 and 4 hours before international flights, depending on the airline's specific policy.

*IMPORTANT NOTE: Once the boarding pass has been issued, no changes are applicable. (If a boarding pass is not presented, the passenger will be subject to the airline's applicable fees.)

3. By official regulation, minors traveling without their parents must provide a notarized letter to the airline with authorization from both parents. See terms and conditions.

4. Departure times and routes may be adjusted by the airline; therefore, it is essential Re-confirm flight departure times before your departure. Please note that changes are occasionally made to your flight's departure gates once you enter the airport gate area. You should monitor your flight's departure gate on the screens and stay up-to-date with your flight's status.

5. It is necessary to arrive 2 hours before the departure of your domestic flight and 3 hours before your international flight (during peak seasons such as summer and Christmas, we suggest arriving 1 hour more than recommended). This will prevent delays in lines, at check-in counters, and security checkpoints from jeopardizing your trip.

6. Please review the checked and carry-on baggage policy, as well as the specifications and permitted items on your service voucher.

7. Your ticket does not include services not mentioned above, such as assistance insurance, flight delay guarantee, seat selection, airport assistance, luggage, or insurance, unless otherwise specified on your service voucher.

8. The transportation of materials is prohibited by law. hazardous materials on board aircraft in your baggage or on your person. A violation may result in imprisonment and fines. Hazardous materials include explosives, compressed gases, liquids, and solids. Flammable liquids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives, and radioactive materials. Examples: paints, lighter fluids, fireworks, tear gas, oxygen cylinders, and radiopharmaceuticals. There are special exceptions for small quantities of medicinal and toiletries carried in your baggage and certain smoking materials carried on your person. If you have any questions, ask your LunaMiel advisor to review your airline's policies.

CHECKED BAGGAGE GENERAL:

Depending on the fare purchased, the first checked bag may be included or have an additional cost payable directly at the counter or during web check-in on the airline's website. Check your COUPON for the baggage allowance and measurements.

TRANSFER SERVICE:

1. When collecting your luggage from the airport and departing, we recommend that you identify and contact the service provider indicated on your voucher, avoiding delays and thus avoiding losing your service.

2. If your flight is delayed or the schedule changes, please contact the service provider's emergency number by phone to avoid losing your right to transportation.

3. For your return transfer, please arrive at your hotel lobby or at the pickup point indicated by the service provider 15 minutes before the scheduled time with your luggage and the corresponding exit pass. Please reconfirm your service 24 hours before departure by calling the service provider's phone numbers indicated on your voucher.

 

FOR BUS RESERVATIONS:

Bus tickets are non-refundable, non-cancellable, and name, date, and route changes are available according to the policies of the requested fare, except for discounted fares.

 

FOR ATTRACTIONS AND TOUR RESERVATIONS:

1. Government fees or charges, departure taxes, and entrance fees to National Parks at the destination not specified in the issued documents may be temporary and not necessarily reported by Viajes LunaMiel, and must be covered by the passenger.

2. A credit card or cash deposit may be required at the time of service for unforeseen expenses and/or due to service provider policies.

3. Some services will require a letter of responsibility upon use, which releases both the service provider and the travel agency from any obligations.

4. Entrance fees to parks, attractions, tours, etc. are non-refundable and, in many cases, non-endorsable.​

 

FOR CAR RENTAL RESERVATIONS:

1. The driver must have a valid ID and driver's license. The driver must be over 25 years of age (otherwise, additional charges may apply).

2. Additional services such as insurance beyond those specified as included, GPS, baby seats, and other additional services have an extra cost.

3. A credit card or cash deposit will be required at check-in for incidental charges and/or due to rental company policies.

4. Car rentals have a deductible; please inquire.

FOR CRUISE BOOKINGS:

1. Your reservation does not include taxes, gratuities, and embarkation fees, unless indicated on your service voucher.

2. When booking your cruise, please request a supplement for flights from your city of origin, airport-hotel-port transfers, cruise insurance, travel assistance insurance, and port excursions, as these are not included, unless indicated on your service voucher.

 

FOR ASSISTANCE INSURANCE BOOKINGS:

1. The Insurance Company is an international travel assistance organization whose purpose is to provide, among other things, medical, legal, and personal assistance services in cases of emergency during a trip. These services are exclusively oriented towards travel assistance in the event of sudden and unforeseen events that prevent the normal continuation of the trip. The amounts and items covered will be detailed in your service policy.

2. Travels made by the User will be covered when they are more than 100 km from their usual place of residence and will be valid exclusively for the duration of the insurance policy. When the User returns to their country of usual residence, the Insurance Company's services will cease to be valid.

3. The services provided by the Insurance Company will be provided solely to the User and are non-transferable to third parties.

4. To receive the assistance services included in their policy, the User must provide their Travel Certificate Number and present personal documentation proving their identity and the travel dates indicated in their policy.

5. User Obligations: In all cases and for all assistance services, the User agrees to:

a) Receive authorization from the Insurance Company before taking any initiative or committing any expense.

b) In the event of a medical emergency (serious accident or serious illness), if it is impossible to contact the Insurance Company to request prior authorization, the User may seek emergency medical care nearest to their location and subsequently notify the Insurance Company, reporting the emergency and the assistance received from the location of the incident within 24 hours of the event occurring. In this case, the User must provide original documents and receipts justifying the situation. No reimbursement will be made for expenses incurred in an emergency situation if the procedure indicated in these Terms and Conditions has not been followed.

c) Consent to the solutions proposed and indicated by the Insurance Company.

d) Provide documentation that establishes the merits of the case, in addition to all original receipts for expenses reimbursable by the Insurance Company and all medical information, including pre-trip information, or any other information that the Insurance Company may eventually require to provide its services.

6. Travel assistance policies are non-refundable and non-cancellable.

FOR ALL SERVICES:
There will be no refunds for services paid for that have not been used in whole or in part. We will address claims in the event of dissatisfaction, non-compliance with contracted services that were not provided, or similar, as long as you notify us by phone at the time of the incident from the destination, ensuring a response, so that we can work immediately and offer a solution. Late claims or claims filed without first consulting your LunaMiel Travel advisor will not be processed.

At LunaMiel by VIAJES PAROLA, we take your privacy seriously and take the necessary measures to protect your personal information.


The personal data that the client provides to LunaMiel de Viajes Parola, such as name, address, telephone number, country, postal code, email, and/or any other data that is required and voluntarily provided, when necessary to provide a specific service, are not considered "sensitive" and are processed under strict confidentiality and data protection standards, and will be used exclusively to complete your purchase and/or quote requests or to inform you of offers or news about our products and services.

 

LunaMiel de Viajes Parola does not share, provide, inform, or reveal its customers' personal data to third parties without their prior consent, unless specifically requested by the competent authorities.

 

The information is used by LunaMiel de Viajes Parola for the sole purpose of improving the service offered to its customers and may be used for commercial or statistical purposes, exclusively by LunaMiel de Viajes Parola.

 

The user may, at any time, report any update to their personal data, including the deletion, rectification or cancellation thereof, by express request to our email contacto@viajeslunamiel.com or by phone at +52 (33) 111 26 143.

 

We require the user's authorization to send information to our customers by email by default. If you do not wish to receive this type of information, you may notify us by email at contacto@viajeslunamiel.com or by phone at +52 (33) 111 26 143  to be automatically removed from the distribution list.

 

Use of the services of LunaMiel by Viajes Parola will be considered as acceptance of the terms of this Privacy Policy by the client.

 

For the purposes of this Privacy Notice, the person responsible for obtaining, storing, using, disclosing, accessing, managing, using, transferring or disposing of personal data will be the company LunaMiel de Viajes Parola, with address at Calle Colima 1361, Colonia Mezquitan, CP 44260 Guadalajara, Jalisco.

Thank you for choosing VIAJES LUNAMIEL, your travel advisor.

1. Introduction

These LUNAMIEL terms and conditions are intended to inform our clients of the general terms and conditions under which travel services are provided.

 

The VIAJES LUNAMIEL agency works with selected business partners who provide travel products or services, choosing the best available rate for you. Once the reservation is settled, VIAJES LUNAMIEL guarantees that your PRODUCT is confirmed.

 

LUNAMIEL may change and/or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time, either partially or totally, based on changes in the tourist services. The Terms and Conditions published on the website https://www.viajeslunamiel.com at the time the CUSTOMER made payment for the Reservation will apply, except in the cases and with the exceptions established by applicable law. Modifications will be described in the same document with the corresponding update date.

 

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, VIAJES LUNAMIEL will act solely and exclusively as an intermediary between the PRODUCT and the CUSTOMER. Therefore, once the reservations containing the tourist services chosen by the CUSTOMER are confirmed, LUNAMIEL will conclude the provision of the intermediary service, and the PRODUCT is responsible for providing said tourist services.

If the CUSTOMER does not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, the sale cannot be completed. If the customer confirms their reservation by paying part or all of their reservation and receives confirmation from LUNAMIEL, the CUSTOMER agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this document.

2. Definitions

CUSTOMER: Any person 18 (eighteen) years of age or older on the scheduled date of travel, purchased, contracted, and/or used through LUNAMIEL.


SERVICE COUPON: The physical and/or electronic document containing confirmation of services purchased and paid for in full by the customer, which describes the cancellation and modification policies for the selected product.


PRODUCT: Intermediation in the provision of tourism services, including but not limited to accommodation reservations, transfers, excursions, airline tickets, incentive groups and weddings, vehicle rentals, and other inbound services at the destination.

3. Characteristics

The product purchased by the customer, the reservation code, the sales price, the payment method, and the characteristics of the package and/or service are those indicated in the body of the voucher and/or coupon delivered to the customer by digital means and/or in person.

To reserve and use any PRODUCT, the CUSTOMER agrees to provide information and documents that are truthful, official, and current as of the date of travel, such as full name, date of birth, nationality, age at the date of travel, emergency contact phone number and email address, among others; and to verify said information on their service vouchers (in the event of any errors, please report them within 24 hours of receipt). If the information does not match the official documents, the CUSTOMER may be denied the provision of the contracted services. Some countries require passports to be valid for a certain period of time before and/or after your vacation.

 

LunaMiel TRAVELS will not be liable for any failure by the CUSTOMER to obtain the required documentation for their trip, including, but not limited to, passports, visas, certificates, or refusal by authorities to enter the country of travel. The good condition of the same (without alterations such as wet, mutilated, or damaged documents), as well as the failure to comply with or comply with the requirements for the use of the contracted PRODUCT, including, but not limited to, airport departure times, hotel check-in and check-out times and dates, coupon redemption policies, etc., health status, use of appropriate clothing, and the like, are the sole responsibility of the CUSTOMER. VIAJES LUNAMIEL will not issue refunds for contracted services in the situations described, nor for any resulting expenses.

4. Modifications: Any modification or change, where applicable, you must request this in writing via email and wait for confirmation from your travel advisor BEFORE the change deadline indicated on your voucher and/or coupon. Subject to administrative fees and/or rate adjustments.

5. Cancellations: Based on Article 56 of the Federal Consumer Protection Law, the CLIENT may request cancellation of services purchased from VIAJES LUNAMIEL, except for non-refundable and non-cancellable rates (which are restrictive rates that incur charges of 100% of the total reservation). The applicable dates and policies are listed on each service coupon. When applicable according to these terms, 10% of the refund will be retained as a service credit, which may be applied to your next trip without a validity limit. This amount is non-refundable and non-transferable. To request cancellation: Please make your request in writing to contacto@viajeslunamiel.com, including your reservation information and confirming receipt by phone. This cancellation fee may apply. Upon confirming your cancellation, VIAJES LUNAMIEL will inform you of the cancellation period for each purchased product. VIAJES LUNAMIEL will refund and/or credit the reservation amount once the corresponding amount has been made available to you.

6. Price and Payment Methods: The prices indicated in your quote are, without exception, payable in local currency at the exchange rate in effect on the day of purchase. Taxes are included in your final rate, unless otherwise indicated in the quote/your service voucher. Additional charges may apply, such as local taxes called "stay tax," "tourist tax," "resort fee," or "sanitation charges," which must be paid directly by the CUSTOMER at the establishment or at the airport.

If the price of your package is expressed in foreign currency, it will be payable in Mexican pesos at the exchange rate on the payment date. Please consult your LunaMiel advisor for the current exchange rate.

 

• Payment Methods:

- Installments: To reserve your hotel or package reservation, you must make the requested deposit and deferred payments for the remaining amount until settlement on the date indicated by your advisor, in cash, transfer, deposit, or check. Ask your LunaMiel advisor for the payment schedule. This does not apply to non-refundable rates and/or immediate payment promotions.

- Single installment: For bus tickets, Transfers, car rentals, insurance, attractions, other services, packages, or hotels with non-refundable or immediate payment rates must be paid at the time of booking, in cash, transfer, deposit, or check.

- For card payments: For eligible products, as long as your trip begins within 90 days of your payment. Consult with your LunaMiel advisor about payment methods and existing promotions such as interest-free months or deferred months and participating cards. You must complete the credit card charge authorization by hand and duly signed, providing the documentation requested by your LunaMiel advisor.

- Restrictions: You cannot pay for a package with a credit card for people who are not traveling in the package. Viajes LunaMiel may request additional documentation to verify the legality of your documentation.

- IMPORTANT: If you require an invoice, please mention it before paying for your trip.

 

7. Guarantee: All services and products offered through VIAJES LUNAMIEL, paid in a timely manner, are backed by the company and will be valid for the following: services contained within it at the time of generating the coupon and/or service voucher, which is a fully valid document that includes a reservation code, logo, and company information.

VIAJES LUNAMIEL offers its CLIENTS:

If the service provider makes any modification or cancellation for reasons beyond its control, known as force majeure, including, but not limited to, war, revolution, acts of terrorism, border closures, epidemics, catastrophes, and other serious causes (bad weather not applicable) that affect the different destinations, and in particular the location of the destination accommodation, the PRODUCT may, with full authority, reschedule or suspend said service for the safety of the CLIENT. VIAJES LUNAMIEL will work professionally, informing you of said changes as soon as they are notified by the PRODUCT. VIAJES LUNAMIEL, in its capacity as intermediary, will support the CLIENT by managing at least one proposal from the original PRODUCT contracted, of the same category and chosen travel plan, to replace the previous one (if there are 2 or more proposals available, the client will choose the one that best suits them). When exchanging products, a price adjustment and/or product exchange fee may be applied, which will be borne by the customer.

8. Claims: There will be no refunds for services paid for that have not been fully or partially used. We will address claims in the event of dissatisfaction, non-compliance with contracted services that were not provided, or similar, provided that you notify us by phone at the time of the event from the destination, ensuring that we have a response, so that we can work immediately and offer a solution. Late claims or claims made without first consulting your Viajes LunaMiel advisor will not be processed.

Similarly, the tourist services promoted by VIAJES LUNAMIEL are independent companies from the PRODUCT, which provides its services in accordance with its Terms and Conditions. Therefore, the CLIENT releases VIAJES LUNAMIEL from all liability regarding:

 

The categories that reflect the hotels/services are provided by the establishments themselves and always comply with the specific regulations governing each country. Therefore, a hotel in one country may not be similar in terms of services and quality to a hotel in another country, even if they are of the same category.

Limitations on services included at the hotel/destination, such as reduced service hours, partial closure of facilities, beach closures, the existence and duration of renovation or remodeling work at the hotel due to damages caused by force majeure.

Under no circumstances will VIAJES LUNAMIEL be liable for damages resulting from any failure or non-performance, or non-operation resulting from bankruptcy, reorganization, declaration of insolvency, dissolution, or liquidation of the tourist service PRODUCT contracted and chosen by the CLIENT.

During the course of the year, some accommodation establishments may change their name or trademark, which cannot be construed as a change of hotel or modification of the reservation.

9. Customer Service: Hours on digital media: Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m CST time. For in-person office visits, appointments are required, following the authorities' hygiene protocols.

10. Customer Assistance During Travel: For assistance with paid packages, we will include a 24/7 emergency phone number on your travel voucher. The phone number will be closed on weekends, long weekends, and holidays.

11. Legislation and Jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions and any service or product sold by VIAJES LUNAMIEL in its capacity as INTERMEDIARY shall be governed by the laws and courts of the City of Guadalajara, Jalisco. The CLIENT declares that he/she knows the scope of this Contract, whose Terms and Conditions are the faithful expression of his/her will and submits, in the event of non-compliance or interpretation, to the jurisdiction of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency, in the administrative process, as a conciliatory body, to resolve any differences that may arise and in the event that they persist. The CLIENT agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the Laws and Courts of the City of Guadalajara, Jalisco, waiving in turn any other jurisdiction that may correspond to him/her due to his/her present or future addresses or due to the location of his/her assets or due to his/her nationality.

GENERAL RESTRICTIONS:

- The rate is subject to availability and may change without notice.

- The services provided by the supplier, described in this quote, are subject to change without notice.

- There are additional services such as local taxes, sanitation fees, seat selection on flights, additional baggage, and similar. Please consult supplementary rates before purchasing.

1. Be sure to tell your advisor your concerns, requirements, and payment methods so they can design suggestions based on your requests.

2. Consult with your advisor about the language, departure point, excursions, inclusions, and schedules in your quoted packages to ensure your trip will be just as you dreamed.

3. Tell your advisor your nationality if you are not Mexican, as some services require other types of visas, documents, and fares for passengers of other nationalities than Mexican.

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO BEFORE BOOKING:

1. Please check the visa and/or entry requirements for the places you will visit. Also, check that your documentation is in order and in good condition, including your driver's license, passport, visas, vaccinations, and any other requirements that immigration authorities in each country may require based on your nationality.
2. We want you to enjoy your vacation like never before, but since the unexpected is also part of traveling, travel protected by purchasing insurance that provides 24-hour medical and legal assistance for any unforeseen events and protection in the event of cancellation due to force majeure (consult your advisor). 3. If you do not speak the language of the country you are visiting, require special seating, or require additional special services, please inform your LunaHoney advisor in writing so they can quote these supplements.

4. The ages of passengers, especially minors, must be valid throughout their trip and will be verified by the service providers. Please keep this in mind when providing information for the quote.

5. If you have any requests for room types or special requirements, these may be requested from the service provider as a request and not as a guarantee, subject to availability.

6. The advance payment requested will be used as a guarantee to secure your spot and rate on your service. Therefore, it will be non-refundable, unless otherwise indicated in your quote.

7. The prices indicated in your quote will, without exception, be payable in local currency at the exchange rate in effect on the day of purchase. Taxes are included in your final rate, unless otherwise indicated in the quote/your service voucher. An additional charge may apply, such as local taxes called "visitor tax," "tourist tax," or "resort fee," which must be paid directly by the CLIENT at the establishment and/or airport.

8. Rates apply to terms and conditions for the provision of services, modifications, and cancellations, which will be reflected in each service voucher.

 

TO BOOK:

To book and use any tourist product or service, the CLIENT agrees to provide information and documents that are truthful, official, and current as of the date of travel. Please note that the reservation holder must be of legal age. Your travel advisor will inform you of the necessary information to provide according to the product requested.

PAYMENT METHODS:

You will find it in the body of the quote request and/or the payment receipt, which depends on the product and travel date. We offer lump sum payments in cash and/or credit card, cash installments, bank transfers, checks, and credit cards with interest-free installments. These are subject to the conditions described in the important notes for each quoted package. See terms and conditions.
